In 1987, the grandson of Emine Haným, Aziz Bey decided to proceed with the tradition and transformed these buildings into a hotel by restoring them, paying careful attention to keep its original atmosphere. Looking for an appropriate name to reflect the hospitality of his grandfather, the hotel is named TUVANA, the name of the Hittite Empire festival of the arrival of spring, celebrated by all its people regardless of their race, religion, and language.

The majority of the furniture dates back to the time of Abdi Efendi, and was given to him as presents for the appreciation of his hospitality.
The Logo of Tuvana is derived from the trousseau of the bride belonging to
Emine Haným.
